Hope everyone is having a lovely chilled out day!

We are loving this beautiful weather that we are having lately. I know it's very cold but I love these crisp sunny days. Sundays for us are a relaxing family day. We love doing things together, whether it's a lovely stroll somewhere or watching movies at home, it's all about quality family time.

Today we went as far as Ashford Castle in Cong. We love this place. The grounds around the castle are breath taking. If it's a nice clear day like today and you are in no hurry, you can walk around through all the different pathways and look at all the beautiful gardens, it's a great way to spend a Sunday.

On entrance into the castle grounds they charge 10€ an adult and 5€ for a child.

Today was extra cold but we were wrapped up very well so the chill didn't bother us and we had the best time.

If you get hungry after your walk or simply need a hot cuppa, they do afternoon tea at the hotel with a fab choice of scones, pastries and a selection of sandwiches with a kids menu also and a selection of flavoured teas. Keep in mind it is a luxury 5star hotel and it is definitely on the pricier side but it is nice to treat yourself to something different and have a sneaky little look at the gorgeous hotel.

There is a couple of coffee shops and bars in the heart of the town if you don't feel like splurging out on afternoon tea.
